Testimonials

Kind words make us smile!

A very good opportunity to focus on how much, and how many people and experiences l have been so lucky to have in my life and how grateful I am now to have had them, and continue to enjoy them . It is a very positive and wonderful way of making me much more aware of the importance of relationships and letting those we love know how much they mean to us. - Francis

"It was a really nice experience. I think it's important to constantly do things like this in the interpersonal area. Both in the private environment and in the professional environment. Mutual recognition is rarely communicated and I am convinced that this leads to being able to build a good, harmonious relationship with one another, even within teams." - Andreas

“It was really good, forced me to slow down and reflect on the day, on my life, on the big picture. I had asked a friend to do it with me, she declined. I'm so glad she did because I asked my husband instead, and we did it together. It has helped our relationship, brought us closer. It made me appreciate him, and see him in a new light.  What a blessing.” - Jean

“By chronicling three things a day that you are thankful for and sharing the experience with another, you get to the essence of what matters.  It is that simple.  Hard to believe until you try it.” - Carmen

“My cofounder and I are loving it and I actually think there is big potential for entrepreneurs and teams to reflect together and connect. It was a part of our routine for the week he was here and it really was a perfect end of our work day.” - Caroline

“It worked really well for [us]. We kept our commitment, some days with short emails, and sometimes more personalized exchanges.  We also talked to each other once a week.  We learned about our differences and that we felt grateful for many of the same things…  I realized how important it is to think about what you are grateful for. We take too many things for granted." - Nina

“This proved an easy tool to keep me in a positive mindset (a tactic which I find to be helpful during difficult times). I also appreciated that I wasn't expected to use this "tool" perfectly. And I really enjoyed communicating with my "buddy." -Odile

I’m coming away from my first gratitude buddy connection with a deep, surprising feeling of connection to my buddy - a type of connection lost during the past few years of isolation. This program is one I will continue to use because it has kept me accountable to myself - the practice of gratitude as anything good we do for ourselves requires a level of discipline. And this one pays off more than any other, as it reinforces all of the good things already there, and it creates the spark often needed for more good in our lives. Ultimately resulting in a domino effect of positive and life affirming power. -Leann

"My Gratitude Buddy experience ended up lasting longer than 30 days and had an unexpected twist. My buddy and I live on different sides of the world, but she sent a local friend of hers my way and I had a lovely experience showing her a part of the country she had never seen before." -Seana

"Reading (my buddy’s) daily mails of gratitude are an excellent reminder of all the aspects of one's life one should be grateful for. Also they serve as a reminder for me to build up my DAILY PRACTICE OF GRATITUDE.” - Dhruv

"I so appreciate how I am feeling more attuned to moments of gratitude, since I know I will be sharing at least one of them with (my buddy) each day. I feel like my gratitude focus is sharper! -Anna

"The mini-journey with my buddy went really well and was super helpful. My buddy was such a lovely woman to work with. Thank you again for connecting us." - Eleonore
